‘You are really going to get a rude shock when you see the roof of this place. You are going to be like, this is some horror movie,’ he said.

‘You’d think this is an industrial wasteland.

‘Mouldy, this smells horrible… How is this allowed in a building like this? Who signed off on this? This is absolutely rank,’ he said as he walked through.

The apartment complex is located in Sydney’s west with the TikToker saying it was constructed less than a decade ago.

‘I think government needs to intervene and make sure buildings abide by proper standards,’ he wrote.

Viewers of the video were disgusted with the state of the building.

‘The great Australian dream thank the government and councils for the support good at taking fees and taxes,’ one person commented.

‘When did we as humans forget how to build beautiful buildings???,’ wrote another.

‘Wouldn’t be out of place in sewerage work,’ said a third.

In August a frustrated tiler called out poorly built new apartments in Sydney saying ‘nothing is straight and the finish work is c**p’.

In the video posted to TikTok by Monkey8u, the tradie wanders around some newly constructed units showcasing multiple issues.

He demonstrated how the doors were lopsided and discussed the overall poor workmanship in the building.

A focal point of the video is a ‘finished’ bathroom with the shower unsealed, and no grout in the tiles.

In the TikTok the tradesman exclaims, ‘Brand new apartments in Sydney, nothing is straight and the finish work is c**p’.

‘Look at the workmanship, it is just f***ing garbage,’ he said.

‘In the apartment nothing is straight’.

The tiler said the whole building industry needs a revamp with numerous homes around the city constructed similarly poor.

‘If people want to build an apartment and take people’s money there should be some security,’ he said.
