Graham Potter started his Premier League campaign on a winning note against the blues London rivals, Crystal Palace.
The Englishman was appointed as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel who was sacked following a series of bad results. Potter drew his first UEFA Champions League game against RB Salzburg and wanted the win against Palace more than anyone at the club.
The game started on a shaky note for Chelsea as Edouard gave the Eagles the lead in the first ten minutes of the game. However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened his goal-scoring account for the Blues.
The game was looking like it will end in a draw but Corner Gallagher scored a screamer in the last minute of the game as the Blues at the Selhurst Park to seal all three points for Chelsea. This is also Potter’s first win against Palace in eight attempts.
