VIDEO: ‘I Will Fill The O2 Arena If…’ – Frank Naro Brags


One issue that has grown to be an albatross around the necks of Ghanaian musicians is the capacity of Nigerian artists like Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, and Asake to hold sold-out concerts at the O2 Arena in the United Kingdom.

Industry players and fans in Ghana have constantly been bugging the musicians in the country to try and also hold such concerts and fill the indoor arena with a seating capacity of around 20,000, which makes it one of the largest indoor venues in the UK.

Some A-list artists in Ghana have publicly been called out to try and organize such shows to prove that they are not just local champions who are only able to pull large crowds of people out to watch them perform in their comfort zones.

Amid these calls in the last few days following Asake’s recent successful show at the same arena, Ghanaian actor and musician, Frank Naro, has come out to say that he is very confident that he can fill the arena easily.

Speaking on CTV’s Class Showbiz, which is hosted by Sammy Flex, the ‘Abena’ crooner revealed that filling the O2 Arena is not a difficult task if the right things are done.

According to Frank Naro, the key to any successful show is investment and promotion. He made the point that once the show is marketed very well and music lovers in the United Kingdom get to hear about it, as the Nigerian acts have been doing, they will surely come out in their numbers.
