A batch of collagen gummies has been recalled after mould was identified.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration issued the product recall for Swisse Beauty Collagen Glow Gummies this week.
The mould identified is Aspergillus Penicillioides.
While there was ‘minimal risk to the general population’, the TGA said there is a ‘remote risk that individuals who are immunocompromised could suffer an adverse reaction if they consume’.
The batch which was affected was Swisse Product SKU: 01-391-00001, Batch Number: 106188, which was manufactured on June 9, 2021, and expires on 06/2023.
