A burnt body was discovered in the aftermath of a fire in Brisbane‘s south.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the scene on Waller Rd in Browns Plains at about 5.30am AEST on Friday.
QFES sent four crews to the small grass fire, which was extinguished at 6am.
The body of a female was discovered at the scene and police were called.
She was reportedly found deep in bushland. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Queensland Police remain at the scene.
