Three people have been killed and at least 15 injured after a high school charter bus was rear-ended by a semi-truck on Interstate 70 in Ohio.
The accident occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on Interstate 70 West in Licking County, near the Smoke Road underpass.
Licking County Emergency Management Agency Director Sean Grady said the charter bus was transporting students from a school in eastern Ohio. There were a total of 57 people onboard, he said.
Images taken from the scene show the rear of the bus completely engulfed in flames.
Other images captured by traffic cameras and shared by the Ohio Department of Transportation show the emergency response at the scene.
