Kwame Aplus says Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the defunct Menzgold, who is currently facing legal charges for allegedly duping his clients after running a ponzi scheme that caused many of his customers to lose their monies, doesn’t deserve to be walking freely in Ghana.
According to him, NAM 1 should already be jailed “if Ghana was any serious country”.
Aplus expressed utter disgust over NAM 1’s lack of empathy and his misbehavior towards his aggrieved customers and discussing the latter’s recent move where he requests the customers to pay GHC 650 to acquire a verification card from him to authenticate refund of their monies, Kwame Aplus found it extremely difficult understanding why the law enforcers haven’t yet prosecuted the embattled Menzgold CEO.
“NAM 1 shouldn’t be allowed to be walking around and misbehaving and doing all of these things but they cannot arrest him because they (government) are thieves…That guy is a criminal”, he fumed.
Sharing his thoughts on UTV’s Saturday’s entertainment show “United Showbiz” in connection with NAM 1’s verification card, Aplus admonished the authorities to throw NAM 1 into prison, stressing “he is fooling too much”.
“You have to protect the people”, he scolded the government.
