A Nigerian man simply known as Moyosore has stirred mixed reactions online after he lauded himself for ‘uplifting’ his wife by marrying her.

According to the young man, if he had not married her, she would have still be single up till this moment.

He then used a popular Nigerian catchphrase; ”We rise by lifting others” to indicate that he did his partner a big favour by taking her to the alter.

Moyo with Twitter handle @ @moyosorecashogi shared photo of them and tweeted;

Twitter users were of a different opinion as many said that she is the one who did him a favour by agreeing to the marriage.
