Ghanaian actor, Sylvester Agyapong, popularly known as Sly, has described Chairman Wontumi’s recent statement about the economy as rubbish.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi, said Ghana is better than the United Kingdom and the United States of America when speaking at the party’s annual delegate’s congress in Kumasi.
Reacting to this in an interview with ZionFelix, Sly stated that Chairman Wontumi should have been slapped for spewing rubbish.
He stressed that his statement was below the belt.
According to him, NPP targets about ninety-two per cent of Ashantis because of their love for the party.
He added that they believe no matter what they do Ashantis will vote for them.
Sly, who is a member of the NDC, was of the view that Nana Addo has disappointed Ghanaians.
