A former member of the renowned gospel group Team Eternity, Nhyira Marfo Okyere, has been laid to rest in a heartfelt ceremony.
According to a report by adomonline.com, the final funeral rites, which took place on Saturday, September 15, 2024, began with a laying-in-state at her family home.
The funeral service was held at God’s Tabernacle of Praise Church in Madina Firestone.
The church was filled with mourners who gathered to honour Nhyira’s life and legacy.
Members of Team Eternity also attended the service to offer their condolences, although they were unable to perform as initially planned.
Following the burial, a Thanksgiving service was held on Sunday, where heartfelt tributes were paid to Nhyira’s memory.
Nhyira, who was just 31 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, after a brief illness.
The cause of her death remains unknown.
