Taylor Swift fans may face traffic disruption today after police have locked down a road near the concert venue.

Westfield Road is closed ‘following a report of concern for a man at a property,’ according to Police Scotland Edinburgh social media.

Buses and drivers have been urged to find alternative routes to Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh.

Westfield Road is closed from Gorgie Road to Stevenson Road, EdinburghLive reported. 

Officers remain at the scene, which could be a route that many concert-goers may have chosen to take to get to the venue.

Officers posted on X: ‘Westfield Road is currently closed following a report of concern for a man at a property, which was reported at 12.55pm today.

‘Officers are at the scene and enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing.

‘Drivers and concert-goers are urged to use alternative routes.’

Taylor Swift is set to begin the UK leg of her popular Era’s Tour at the venue tonight – with around 73,000 fans expected to pile into the stadium in Scotland each night. 

She will perform at the venue for three nights before moving onto Liverpool next week. 

Fans of the U.S singer began waiting in chilly temperatures of just seven degrees outside Edinburgh’s Murrayfield stadium in the early hours of the morning.
