Missing doctor and young mum, 36, is found dead after suddenly disappearing when she clocked off work from her GP clinic
- Eza Lau, 36, was last seen leaving work at Top Ryde medical centre on Sunday
- Police confirmed the mother’s body was found at about 10pm on Tuesday
- Her husband said Ms Lau’s disappearance was totally out of character
A young mother has been found dead two days after she disappeared following her shift at a medical centre.
Eza Lau, 36, who works as a GP, was last seen leaving the MyHealth centre in Top Ryde, in Sydney‘s north, in a black BMW on Sunday at 4pm.
Her husband and mother started calling the mum-of-one at 6pm but couldn’t get onto Ms Lau and reported her missing to police at 9pm that night.
NSW Police confirmed that Ms Lau’s body was found at Huntleys Point on the lower north shore at about 10pm on Tuesday. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Her husband Paolo told Nine newspapers that his wife’s disappearance was ‘totally random’.
‘She has never done anything like this before,’ he told the Sydney Morning Herald before her body was found.
The couple have a three-year-old daughter and have been together for eight years.
Her husband told the Herald that he last saw her at 7am on Sunday as she left for work.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Loved ones and former patients of Ms Lau expressed their heartbreak at the news her body had been found.
‘You will be sadly missed by many but always remembered for your beautiful heart,’ one said.
‘Such a beautiful caring person,’ another said.
‘You did so much for the community.’
