Black Stars coach CK Akonnor has stated that his opponents are hungry for a good result but his team have the same hunger.
Ghana go into the game with three points after beating Ethiopia 1-0 in Cape Coast.
South Africa on the other hand have just one point so far after recording a goalless draw with Zimbabwe.
“What I know is that we are now playing the qualifiers for the World Cup. In our first match, we won, we had three points, and they lost in Zimbabwe and are now under pressure,” Akonnor said in the presser ahead of the game.
“You can see that they need the points badly but we also need it so bad so it’s a battle we don’t have to lose sight of. But if we are able to be clever in the things we have to do, we will carry the day.”
The match is set to commence at 4PM on Monday at the FNB stadium.
