Seth Osei pleads with Kotoko fans to help pay AshGold’s $80,000 price

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is keen on snapping up AshantiGold forward Seth Osei in this transfer window but the Obuasi based club have placed a prohibitive $80,000 on the player.

The Kumasi based club have made their intentions clear to the miners but the attacker but the miners are not ready to slash a dime from their valuation.

Osei an exciting attacker full of promise has made a solemn plea to supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to help him realize his dream move of joining the porcupine warriors.

Ashanti Gold SC have placed an astonishing price tag of $80,000 on the head of the attacker something which Kotoko are not intent on meeting.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Pure FM, the player says its his dream to play for Asante Kotoko and is pleading with the supporters of the club to help raise the mammoth $80,000 Ashgold SC is demanding.

“I love Asante Kotoko Sporting Club. I’m ready to join the club because it is the club I love,” Osei told Pure FM

“I have discussed with Dr. Kwaku Frimpong about my desire to join Kotoko. My target now is to join Kotoko before the new season starts.

“I am a fan of Kotoko even though I’m an Ashanti Gold player. I am ready to play for Kotoko. I will plead to the Kotoko supporters to make contributions to pay the $80,000 that Dr. Kwaku Frimpong is demanding. I want to wear their Jersey to honor my late father,” he concluded.

The 22-year-old has a contract which keeps him at the Len Clay Stadium outfit until 2023.

He scored six goals and provided six assists last season winning two man of the match awards.
