Rich kid gets in standoff with cops aboard his yacht after ‘terrorizing restaurants and neighbors’ in Florida

A rich teenage influencer who menaced his neighbors in the Florida Keys had the tables turned on him when police filmed a damning video of his anti-social behavior.

Luis Barrios, 18, boasts 43,000 followers on Instagram where he documents his glamorous lifestyle of fast cars, fast boats, and international travel.

But he was brought down to earth by Florida cops who seized him on his father’s yacht after he terrorized restaurant staff, boasted about his family’s wealth and threatened to feed police officers to alligators.

‘Nobody cares about your TikTok nobody cares,’ one told him. ‘You’re a child, get off the boat.’

Police were called by staff at Sunset Grille in Marathon when a drunken Barrios and his young pals began swearing loudly and causing a disturbance.

Police finally caught up with Luis Barrios when he tried to moor his yacht at his Keys home

He was cuffed after refusing to get off the boat and demanding the officers ‘call my dad’.

Cops arrived to find the culprits had fled on Barrios’s yacht but a manager scratching his head after allegedly being left a threatening message on his phone.

‘It’s so stupid,’ he told officers. ‘Why would you call with your actual number?’

Police headed to one of the family homes nearby on the archipelago to find no-one home but the teenager’s neighbors unsurprised at his latest antics.

‘Daddy took the car away so he stole the boat,’ one told police. ‘Something’s got to be done about that kid.

‘The dad’s a decent hard-working guy who built what he built through hard work but the kid’s a spoiled brat.’

‘It sounds like he’s doing it for attention,’ another neighbor adds. ‘Because he’s not a very likable guy and it sounds like he’s trying to buy their friendship.’

Officers tell them that Barrios has had a series of previous arrests, and that around 20 other neighbors have lodged complaints.

‘He’s been a thorn in our side over the last two months,’ one says.

Police bodycam video which has been uploaded to YouTube records the officers hearing shouts from behind the homes where they find Barrios attempting to moor up at his house.

He quickly reverses but returns minutes later with three of his friends still on board.

He refuses to get off the boat and demands the officers ‘call my dad’.

He was unrepentant at the police station after calling officers ‘pigs’ and threatening to feed them to alligators

‘I have anxiety because of this, I’ve been diagnosed with paranoia,’ he bleats.

‘Stop narrating for the camera bro nobody gives a s***,’ one tells him.

‘Everybody in this neighborhood has called in on you, everybody.

‘You have brought this on yourself you fled from law enforcement when they got here.’

‘I’ll f***ing spit in your face,’ he tells an officer as he is cuffed.

‘Oh threat to law enforcement? You just got another charge, good job,’ the cop snaps back.

‘I’m a good kid I didn’t do no harm to nobody,’ Barrios insists as he is marched away, before calling an officer a ‘pig’.

And he appeared to let his social media profile go to his head as his put-upon neighbors filled the street to watch him being taken away

‘Targeting a teenager 24/7,’ he growled. ‘Everything on video. Look all my neighbors recording you!’

Booked at the station he boasts that his father is going to buy him a new boat ‘tomorrow’, adding: ‘We’ve got a s*** load of money. My dad’s f***ing rich n***er.

‘You’re the type of person I feed to alligators in the Everglades. I hope an alligator eats you.’

‘The dad’s a decent hard-working guy who built what he built through hard work,’ one neoighbor told police, ‘but the kid’s a spoiled brat.’

The YouTube video has eclipsed Barrios’s social media profile after being viewed 225,000 times.

‘If it wasn’t for Daddy’s money he would be homeless. Perfect example of an entitled brat that has never been told no,’ wrote one viewer.

‘What a foul, ignorant toddler. It’s clear he’s out of control and headed for prison. His poor parents.’

Barrios has been charged with trespass, second degree disorderly conduct, and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer by vessel.
