The discovery was made in Brunswick Park, South East London and the park was then closed.

At the scene, there is a huge police cordon and forensic investigators are carrying out investigations.

Ms Srncova, a senior nurse assistant, is believed to have left the Evelina London Children’s hospital at 7.45pm on November 28, wearing a green coat and carrying a red backpack at the time.

It is understood that she withdrew money from a cashpoint, before getting onto a bus towards Elephant and Castle.

She is then thought to have changed to a new bus travelling towards her home address in Camberwell, where she was last seen at 8.22pm.

She said: ‘It’s quite scary for us, we feel like we’re not safe anymore.

‘I’m not really feeling comfortable. I’m not sure if I would take my children back to that park.

‘When my friend’s kids were running around the park, that’s when they saw it. It’s really shocking.’

The South London park is in lockdown after the discovery of the body this morning

And another person living in the area called Fred said he was feeling ‘unsettled’.
