Following the release of his first single of the year, the highlife classic “Obiaa,” Phrimpong transitions into a different genre with another masterpiece titled “Obi Ba,” featuring Oseikrom Sikanii.
Built on a drill beat, “Obi Ba” is a song about pain and betrayal that showcases Phrimpong’s growth and skills with a masterful flow and delivery. The song is flawlessly complemented by Oseikrom Sikanii’s unparalleled verse, which adds more flesh to the story and a Gen Z vibe.
The narrative conveyed in the lyrics tells the story of a man whose heart is destroyed by a woman who abandons him for another man despite the love and gifts he showered on her, treating her as his own.
