Popular socialite and businesswoman Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has responded to critics of her marriage on social media.
Afua Asantewaa expressed her frustration at those who seemed to be anxiously awaiting negative news about her marriage in a viral video on TikTok.
She questioned why some individuals were so invested in the idea of her becoming a divorcee.
“There are people who always want to find out every morning if Afua Asantewaa is still married.
They wish there would be breaking news saying that Afua Asantewaa is a divorcee. They want me to get divorced so they can celebrate. So, you people don’t appreciate good things?” she said.
Her lamentations follow a dance challenge the couple had jumped on after it was performed by some couples on the Big Brother Naija reality show.
However, Afua says some people have reacted negatively in the comment section of their dance video.
