Popular socialite and businesswoman, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has slammed netizens who criticize her marriage on social media.

In a viral TikTok video, Afua could be seen questioning why some individuals seem eager to see her marriage fail.

“There are people who always want to find out every morning if Afua Asantewaa is still married. They wish there would be breaking news saying that Afua Asantewaa is a divorcee. They want me to get divorced so they can celebrate. So, you people don’t appreciate good things?”

Her comments follow a dance challenge she and her husband participated in, inspired by couples on the Big Brother Naija reality show.

Despite their fun participation, some viewers reacted negatively in the comments section of their video.

Afua clarified that she is not as troublesome as some might believe.

Afua Asantewaa and her husband first made headlines on December 24, 2023, when she attempted to set a Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.

She captivated many in Ghana by singing for 126 hours and 52 minutes.

Initially planning to finish on December 27, she decided to extend her performance to five continuous days after consulting with her team.

However, her efforts did not secure the record title for the longest singing marathon.
