Asantehene, Otumfour Osei II, has been invited to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
The official invitation came from the new British monarch, King Charles III.
It was delivered by the Protocol Directorate of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the British government.

The invitation specified that Otumfour could attend the funeral with his spouse/partner.
Queen Elizabeth’s funeral will come off on Monday, September 19, 2022.
