Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is reportedly set to name his squad for the Sudan doubleheader in the next few days.
According to Ghanasoccernet, some key players who missed the team’s opening games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will make their return for the Sudan games.
Some names include Olympique Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah and Fenerbahçe defender Alexander Djiku. The duo missed the previous games due to injuries.
Nuamah did not make the squad list, while Djiku pulled out from the squad a few days after the announcement.
Otto Addo will have most of his key players available for the Sudan doubleheader and is thus expected to name a strong squad for the matches.
Ghana began their qualifiers with a defeat and a draw against Angola and Niger, respectively. The Black Stars will need a win to get back on track in their quest to qualify for the AFCON.
