Olivia Wilde’s ex nanny lashed the star’s ‘ugly’ personality and says she’s ‘ecstatic’ Harry Styles has split from her, as Wilde was seen looking glum in Los Angeles.
The nanny, whose exclusive revelations about the pair to DailyMail.com sparked worldwide gossip, couldn’t hide her delight after it emerged Wilde and Styles had split Friday night.
She told DailyMail.com: ‘That’s what happens when the ugly finally comes out! I am beyond ecstatic that Harry dropped her like a hot potato!’ It’s still unconfirmed who dumped who, with a source close to the pair saying they’d grown apart.
The nanny’s broadside came as Wilde was spotted grimacing and looking glum in her first public outing since it was reported she’d split from Styles in exclusive DailyMail.com photos.
The Don’t Worry Darling actress, 38, was snapped at a flea market Los Angeles Saturday, with the pain of the alleged split from Styles, 28, etched on her face as she perused rails of clothes and met with friends.
A male and female acquaintance were photographed hugging a downcast-looking Wilde, who now faces single life once more. After distracting herself with retail therapy, Wilde went on to collect her two children from a music class.
She and Styles are said to have grown apart in the months leading up to their split. They were rocked by a slew of humiliating revelations from Wilde’s former nanny shared exclusively with DailyMail.com
The nanny set the internet ablaze after revealing Wilde’s ex Jason Sudeikis – the father of her two children – lay down in front of her car on realizing she was off to see Styles with a batch of her now-famous salad dressing.
New York-born Wilde and Styles – a singer from Cheshire in England who shot to fame with boyband One Direction – faced further scrutiny after starring together in critically-panned drama Don’t Worry Darling.
The movie, which was also a commercial flop, ignited a firestorm of global drama after it was claimed co-star Florence Pugh had fallen-out with Wilde.
In a further delicious twist, Wilde’s former nanny claimed Styles and Pugh had enjoyed a fling before he’d taken up with Wilde – with that embarrassing claim rumored to have derailed their two year relationship.

During Don’t Worry Darling’s premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September, Pugh dramatically strutted out at the end of a screening.
That appeared to confirm the bad blood between the British actress and Wilde, who were seated at opposite ends of the row they were on.
Despite a taste for famous girlfriends, Styles has long proclaimed that he is shy, with the white-hot attention focused on him and Wilde likely to have holed their romance below the waterline.
A source close to the pair attempted to put a positive spin on the implosion of their romance after sharing details of the split with People magazine.
That friend said: ‘They’re still very close friends. Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.’
Wilde is said to have been unable to accompany him because she needs to stay in Los Angeles with her eight-year-old son Otis and daughter Daisy, six, from her nine-year relationship with US film star Jason Sudeikis.
She and Styles were also said to be struggling to agree which side of the Atlantic they would make their home.
News of Styles and Wilde’s split came as a surprise to the couple’s friends who, despite the ten-year age gap between the pair, expected they would remain together for the foreseeable future (pictured together in March)

When the two stars’ 10-year-gap relationship began in 2020 during the production of Don’t Worry Darling, Wilde was still living with Sudeikis. She later insisted that her relationship with the American star was over long before she got together with Styles.
The 38-year-old had left a heartbroken Sudeikis drunkenly ranting ‘she left us’ to the children’s nanny after abruptly dumping him for the British pop star on November 8 of last year – but then kept returning to the house and telling him she loved him in the weeks after the split, an insider revealed.
The cozy messages and visits continued up until December 29, when Sudeikis and the nanny flew to London. Wilde then went public with her new boyfriend Styles five days later.
The nanny says she was floored by their debut as a couple, even though she had known about their romance and how broken-hearted Sudeikis was that Wilde was with someone else.
The nanny told DailyMail.com: ‘When I saw Olivia holding hands as a couple with Harry in the news [in January 2021], I was shocked as just a month before, when we were in LA, she was sending Jason messages saying she loved him.
‘Text messages and voicemails. He let me hear the voicemails and the text messages. Then Jason said, she was just here [at the house] and she was naked in the pool and then she slept with me naked in the bed.

Sudeikis, 47, then told the nanny that Wilde’s need for the British heartthrob was like a drug addiction and complained that their therapist wasn’t doing more to stop it.
The nanny told DailyMail.com: ‘What Jason said was that [the therapist] was feeding her crack, and Harry is her crack, that this is like an addiction she has.’
‘[The therapist] said to me, “Olivia is like an addict right now so we have to treat her like an addict to get her back to the family. It’s like having a drug addict come back to reality”.’
Wilde’s infatuation with Styles also left Sudeikis questioning her connection to reality – with the dad-of-two even describing her as a ‘mess’ in a text exchange with the nanny.
In one conversation, the nanny writes: ‘I sent a heart but then thought I should’ve have [sic]. It’s BS that she can’t wait to see us all. She hasn’t asked once how I’m doing.
‘Anyhow, I’m not one to be manipulated or fake. I just can’t believe she’s living this life w Harry and hasn’t said a word about it to me…’
Sudeikis replies: ‘She’s embarrassed. And not living in the real world. And we are a part of that real world.’

In a second exchange, the nanny tells Sudeikis: ‘I honestly feel she was just here with us as a family and then within a day she moved on and in w someone else and is a stranger. It’s just so bizarre.’
The Ted Lasso star replies: ‘That is what happened. And think how I feel. After nine years.’
A third conversation sees the pair call Wilde ‘a mess’ with Sudeikis adding: ‘I know. She’s a mess. A deeply hurting mess.’
But Sudeikis was also ‘deeply hurt’ and was stunned by Wilde’s sudden decision to end their engagement – even lying under her car to stop her from going to Styles following a row over salad dressing.

Despite Wilde moving out of the family home at the start of November, Olivia continued visiting the home and swimming naked in their pool until the end of December 2020, according to the nanny
According to the nanny, she and Wilde had a conversation a few days after the explosive fight in which the actress claimed her ex-fiancé was ‘jealous’.
The nanny said: ‘Olivia and I sat down and Olivia told me, “oh we’ve been having some problems for a while”.
‘I said, “I never knew. I never, ever knew. I’ve never seen you guys get into an argument”.’
‘She said, “I didn’t want to burden you because you’re so loving and such a bright light to our family.”
‘I was caught off guard because I lived with them and was around them and I never saw any of this happen.
‘I said to Olivia, “Jason told me you’re f***ing somebody”. And she kind of rolled her eyes and looked the other way, and said, “he’s just jealous of me”.’
‘She didn’t deny it. She couldn’t believe he’d told me that actually. Nor could I. So that was the first time I let her know about [Styles].’

Infatuated Wilde also made it clear that she had no intention of giving up Styles and thought things would be better between her and Sudeikis following the split – even after the nanny told her that Sudeikis and the rest of the family had been left brokenhearted by her decision to leave.
In April, Wilde was served custody papers by her ex while live on stage at the 2022 CinemaCon – where she was discussing the production of Don’t Worry Darling. The actress later claimed that Sudeikis was intentionally trying to ’embarrass’ her.
DailyMail.com later revealed in August that Wilde won the custody battle over the former couple’s two children when a judge ruled that the family’s home state is California, dismissing Sudeikis’ petition for them to live in New York. Wilde was still with Styles at the time.
