Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Samuel Anim Addo, has expressed confidence that Nsoatreman FC can mirror the commendable performance of Dreams FC in the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.

This perspective was shared during a recent interview on Channel One TV, following Nsoatreman’s victory over Bofoakwa Tano in the MTN FA Cup.

Dreams FC had an outstanding run in the CAF Confederation Cup last season, advancing to the semifinals in their first attempt.

Nsoatreman FC has now secured the chance to represent Ghana in the same tournament next season, thanks to their 5-4 penalty shootout win against Bofoakwa Tano in the MTN FA Cup final at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Anim Addo suggested that Nsoatreman could achieve similar success by drawing lessons from Dreams FC’s experiences.

“Nsoatreman can easily follow suit; all they need is to consult, and they have already indicated their intention to do so. Their manager, Eric Alagidede, has stated this, so they will definitely seek advice,” he said.

He underscored the potency of Nsoatreman’s management, led by Eric Alagidede, and head coach, Maxwell Konadu, who brings extensive experience from the World Cup and African Cup.

Anim Addo also pointed out the necessity for Nsoatreman to bolster their squad with players who have experience in African competitions, akin to Dreams FC’s approach with John Antwi.

“Nsoatreman has a very competent team; they need to recruit players who have played on the African continent. With some quality additions, they will fare well in Africa,” he concluded.
