Ghanaian actress, Sandra, has revealed one of the conditions given to them when growing up.
Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, the actress recalled her parents gave strict conditions to her brothers on the type of women they should marry.
According to her, her parents advised her brothers not to marry an Ashanti woman.
Sandra, who hails from Kwahu, said inheritance is one of the reasons why her brothers were given such advice.
Since some ethnic groups inherit from the mother’s side—and others from the father’s side, they were afraid the children that may come from the relationship will belong to the other side.
This conversation ensued when discussing Muslim and Christian marriages on the set of ‘Zongo Boys’—a yet to be released movie from Famous Multimedia.
