Ruff morning? Moment terrified man leaps onto car roof to get away from dog – and then apologizes to the driver

  • In a panic a man jumps on the car roof as he flees from a neighbor’s dog
  • The barking dog scurries away across the street when Jefferson honks her
  • Man apologizes but Jefferson just rolls down her window and replies ‘You good’

This is the moment a man jumped on top of a parked car to escape an aggressive dog, only to realize there was someone sitting inside it.

Destyni Jefferson, a hairstylist from St Louis, Missouri, was in her car outside her house when the man jumped on the roof to flee from a loose German Shepherd.

CCTV shows her honking her horn and scaring off the dog as the man scrambles on top of the car, dropping one of his bags in his panic.

‘When I saw the dog running after him, then I understood why he was on my roof,’ Jefferson said afterwards.

The man can be heard apologizing to Jefferson before sliding cautiously off the roof as the dog walks back to a front yard across the street.

‘I’m so sorry,’ he says. But she shrugs off his apology as she calmly rolls down her window and says, “You good, I saw that motherf****er this morning!”‘
