Teenage siblings are in hospital fighting for their lives following a tragic car crash which killed one of their friends and another motorist.

Bella Trezza, 17, had picked up her brother Austin, 18, and three of his friends from a party about 1am on Saturday and was dropping them home when the car they were traveling in was hit by a Kia sedan in West Babylon, Long Island.

Riley Goot, 18, was killed in the crash, along with the 33-year-old driver of the other car, Michael Desmond.

Police said Desmond had failed to stop for a red light.

According to a GoFundMe set up for the siblings, the ‘the outlook for survival for Bella is not bright.’

‘Bella is on life support after suffering severe brain trauma,’ a family friend said.

‘She has lost her spleen, a tremendous amount of blood, and has more broken bones than the doctors wanted to count.’

Bella’s injuries have been described as ‘so devastating, especially knowing the bright ray of sunshine she is in this world.’

Her brother Austin, along with 18-year-old Jack Murphy and 16-year-old Anthony Pagliuca, remain in hospital with varying injuries.

Austin is ‘stable’ after ‘multiple surgeries… with a long haul ahead and more surgeries and rehab on the horizon.’
