Let’s Take Advantage Of The Global Music Festival….. – Deputy Minister Of Tourism | General Entertainment


Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Mark Okraku-Mantey has called on all Ghanaians across the globe to take advantage of the Global Music Festival slated for September 24, 2022, at the Black Stars Square, to create awareness to stop poverty, climate change and human right abuse.

The 10th-anniversary edition of the Global Music Festival has been launched to mark the 65th anniversary of Ghana’s independence and the 20th anniversary of the African Union.

Mark Okraku-Mantey, expressed optimism about the economic impact of the event on the local economy, adding that the festival will attract tourists and lead to an increase in inbound travels, who will lead advocacy to ensure peace, eradicate poverty, etc.

Live performances from international music superstars Usher, Stormzy, H.E.R. and alongside Ghanaian stars, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Gyakie, are expected to grace the occasion.

Mr Mark Okraku Mantey indicated that the event will put a spotlight on Ghana’s creative arts industry and boost collaboration between Ghanaians and artists from other parts of the world.
