Ghana’s celebrated musician, Kuami Eugene, has provided an update on his health status following a serious car accident that left him injured quite recently.
The accident occurred on Sunday, March 24, 2024, night near the DSTV office towards the Dzowulu traffic light in Accra.

Kuami Eugene’s car collided with a tipper truck, resulting in injuries to himself and a male passenger.
Eyewitnesses described the accident scene, highlighting the efforts to rescue Kuami Eugene and his companion.
Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, a news editor with Modern Ghana, who witnessed the incident, recounted assisting the musician and his passenger out of the vehicle before arranging transportation to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) for medical attention.
Upon examination at UGMC, Kuami Eugene was found to have sustained injuries, including a broken arm, cuts on his hands, lips, leg, and hip.

The severity of the accident was evident from the extensive damage to his car, which had all airbags deployed.
Despite the ordeal, Kuami Eugene, known for hits like ‘Monica,’ remains resilient.
Some recent images shared on his Instagram page show him in good spirits, seated on a hospital bed with a splint on his right arm.
Shockingly, eventhough he is still in recovery, the Lynx Entertainment signed artists was seen to be very dedicated to his craft as he is spotted working on new music with a laptop and mini speaker by his side.
Expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers, Kuami Eugene thanked God, his family, the medical staff at UGMC, and fans for their unwavering kindness and well-wishes during this challenging time.
