Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala named in Week 31 team of the week

Asante Kotoko striker Steven Mukwala has been named in the Ghana Premier League Team of the Week for Matchday 31.

The forward delivered an outstanding performance for the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday, May 26, 2024, during their clash with rivals Hearts of Oak.

In the Week 31 fixture of the Ghana Premier League, Steven Mukwala scored a brace, leading Asante Kotoko to a satisfying 2-0 victory at full-time.

Following an assessment of all players who featured for their clubs on the matchday, the Kotoko striker was selected for the Team of the Week.

Other players who earned a spot in the Ghana Premier League Team of the Week include Great Olympics veteran Gladson Awako, Alex Aso of Gold Stars, and Accra Lions goalkeeper Andrews Owusu.
