Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu feels he owns the bragging rights after playing out a goalless stalemate with Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League Super Clash on Sunday.

The Phobians wasted a string of great opportunities in the first-half with Kwadwo Obeng Junior hitting the woodwork when he was presented with a great chance.

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danland Ibrahim also made a couple of impressive stops to deny the Phobians at various times in the game.

Meanwhile, Richard Attah – the goalkeeper in between the sticks for the Phobians – also drew applauds from the fans when he made a couple of superb saves to keep Hearts of Oak in the game.

Despite Kotoko also having their moments in the game and Hearts having to rely on Attah to save them from conceding, Hearts of Oak Boadu has explicitly stated that the league leaders couldn’t have won even if he had fielded club’s junior side against the Porcupine Warriors.

“If we had even used our junior team (Auroras) against them today, Kotoko can still not score us,”  he said in the post-match interview.

Kotoko are winless against Boadu since his arrival at the capital club.

“This is not true although we did well. This game was not one of our best games so far. I believe our best game of the first round was against Legon Cities,” he said.
