Keep dancing @marinsanna! Hillary Clinton sticks up for Finland’s party Prime Minister Sanna Marin

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was slammed online for inserting herself in Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin’s ongoing partying scandal.

The Finnish Prime Minister, 36, has come under fire in recent weeks after a series of videos were leaked showing her dancing and partying with her friends while in office.

She has since been accused of taking drugs at these jubilees, and shortly after the videos emerged, one of Marin’s friends posted a picture of herself posing topless while kissing her semi-naked friend in the prime minister’s official residence of Kesäranta.

But on Sunday, Clinton decided to come to Marin’s defense, posting a photograph of herself, dancing with a big smile on her face in a crowded club in Cartagena during a 2012 trip to Colombia while she was secretary of state.

Clinton tweeted the photograph with the message: ‘As Ann Richards said, “Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did. She just did it backwards and in high heels.”

‘Here’s me in Cartagena while I was there for a meeting as Secretary of State. Keep dancing, @marinsanna.’

Soon, though, Finnish residents took to Twitter to tell the one-time presidential hopeful that they did not her ‘two cents’ on the issue which they claimed she is ignorant about.

‘It’s not about the fact that she’s dancing, Hillary,’ Richard Nyberg wrote.

‘Apparently you don’t have any of the facts and, if anything, you just made the situation worse for her in Finland by arrogantly assuming that this situation needed your two cents.

‘It didn’t.’

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin (pictured) has come under fire in recent weeks after a series of videos were leaked showing her dancing and partying with her friends while in office.

Twitter user Richard Nyberg told Clinton the Finnish people didn’t need her ‘two cents’ on the situation, telling her: ‘It’s not about the fact that she’s dancing, Hillary’

Rivu Auvinen also wrote: ‘Hillary seems to have not been briefed about the case very thoroughly. Or she supports partying and drinking over PM duties.

‘Not to mention[the] alarming rise of the state dept. combined with both healthcare and energy crisis Marin’s cabinet has created.’

Paula Hilutnen, meanwhile, told the former secretary of state that ‘it’s extremely embarrassing to “support” by dancing, when you obviously don’t know where the criticism is,’ and Hugo Fitlund asked Clinton if she were in office whether she would be OK with the pictures taken at the Prime Minister’s residence.

‘It is not about dancing, sex or age,’ Fitlund tweeted. ‘It is about decency and what is proper and what is not.’

Riku Ranta also suggested that the ‘global left actually succeeded in making this as misogyny conspiracy,’ saying he is actually concerned ‘about proper work attitude as head of state during these hard times’ and noting Marin parties four out of seven days in one week.

And another Twitter user noted that Marin was pictured partying with someone who is not her husband, writing: ‘They’re ignoring the elephant in the room and focusing on the part nobody gives a damn about.’

Meanwhile, another man said the photo Hillary posted came after she had already announced she was retiring ‘and most of all everyone saw it as a transparent PR move for a 2016 run.’

Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin gave a tearful speech as she addressed a crowd about her partying after her friend apologized for posing topless in the premier’s official residence

Many Twitter users said Clinton did not seem to understand the scandal

The former secretary of state has now joined the ranks of other female politicians who have expressed their support for Marin by posting videos and images of them dancing and partying.

‘If letting off steam at a party is the worst thing your prime minister has done, then you’re a pretty lucky country,’ Fiona Patten, an Australian politician, wrote on Twitter next to a video of her dancing.

Meanwhile, Spanish politician Iratxe García Pérez tweeted: ‘How shocking!!! A young politician who does her job and enjoys her private life… Why can’t a young woman have fun? I can’t stand gender double standards.’

But critics say the recently leaked videos show inappropriate behavior for the head of a country.

One of the videos showed Marin dancing and partying with a group of friends and celebrities at a rooftop nightclub in central Helsinki, while another showed Marin dancing provocatively with Finnish social media influencer Sabina Särkkä, 33.

The model who posed topless while kissing her semi-naked friend in Finnish prime minister Sanna Marin’s official residence has apologised for her ‘inappropriate behaviour’

Finland’s party-loving prime minister (seen wearing white jeans) has been filmed dancing closely with a glamorous former model in yet another raunchy video (pictured) of her notorious night out. The newly leaked footage shows Sanna Marin, 36, dancing provocatively with Finnish social media influencer Sabina Särkkä, 33

In the aftermath, Marin told fellow members of her Social Democratic party that she thought it was important to cut loose at times.

‘I am human. And I too sometimes long for joy, light and fun amidst these dark clouds,’ Marin said in a tearful speech. She added that she had not missed ‘a single day of work.’

But she encountered further blowback when a photo emerged showing Marin’s friend Särkkä, 33, posing topless while kissing her semi-naked friend in the prime minister’s official residence of Kesäranta.

Särkkä posted the photo on TikTok after spending the evening with Marin and other celebrity friends at the official residence of Kesäranta.

The image, which was taken on July 10 after the group had gone to a rock festival,  showed the glamorous Finnish blonde and her friend pulling up their tops while kissing each other.

Särkkä who was dressed in a cowboy hat, denim shorts and a leather jacket held her hand over her breasts while her friend covered her chest in the picture by holding a sign saying ‘FINLAND’ which is usually on Marin’s desk.

Marin again apologized.

Clinton, who is 74, headed the State Department from 2009 to 2013 under President Barack Obama.

In 2016, she was the Democratic candidate for US president. Though heavily favored, she lost to real estate magnate Donald Trump in a stunning upset.
