Renowned Ghanaian media personality, Kafui Dey has revealed via a social media post that he has submitted one of Stonebwoy’s songs to the Grammy Recording Academy for consideration ahead of the 2023 awards.
The host of GTV’s breakfast show revealed in the tweet he made that Stonebwoy’s song, ‘Greedy Men’ was the one he submitted to the academy.
Per the tweet, Kafui’s submission wants the recording academy to consider the song for the ‘Best Song For Social Change’ category.
Well. this category was established to honour songwriters and musicians whose songs address a timely social issue and promotes understanding, peacebuilding, and empathy.
After his submission and the reply from the academy, the ace journalist has come out to also urge other Ghanaians who find the submission very prudent to do the same and get the Burniton Music boss a nomination next year.

Stonebwoy’s ‘Greedy Men’ was released in November 2021 and it heavily criticizes the activities of illegal miners and people who are destroying Ghana’s vegetation and crops like cocoa just to mine gold illegally.
Stonebwoy earlier in 2021 earned three credits in the 64th annual Grammy Awards.
Stonebwoy was shortlisted for his participation as a featured artist on three albums that were released in the year under review for “containing at least 51% playing time of new reggae recordings.”
