Justice Brett Kavanaugh is all smiles as he watches his old high school team win homecoming game

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh returned to his old stomping grounds Friday night to cheer on his former high school football team during their homecoming game.

Photos show Kavanaugh touting a dark blue baseball cap and a large grin as he watched his alma mater, Georgetown Preparatory School in Rockville, Maryland, dominate the field for a 28-3 victory over Landon High School.

Kavanaugh, who appears to have attended the game alone, was seen socializing with other onlookers and seemed to have a good time overall.

The elite all-boys school, with cost of attendance being nearly $40,000 or more than $60,000 annually if you choose to live on campus, has educated several prominent political figures including Supreme Court Judge Neil Gorsuch and chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell.

Kavanaugh graduated from the all-boys Jesuit school – notorious for its bullying and drinking culture – in 1983. He was standout in both football and basketball during his time at the elite school.

He was said to be a member of a gang of bullies and have gone to numerous parties where attendees focused on getting drunk and having sex.

Christine Blasey Ford accused Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at one of these parties in 1982.

He vehemently denied her claims during his 2018 Supreme Court confirmation hearing, and has never been charged with any wrongdoing over the allegations.

Vanity Fair wrote an expose on the school back in 2018, highlighting some of Kavanaugh’s alleged behaviors while he was enrolled.

According to the accounts of former classmates, Kavanaugh was the over-excited sidekick of notorious school bully J.C. del Real, who in the fall of 1982 picked up a freshman and viciously threw him into a garbage can while his friends laughed.

The now-justice was accused of by a bystander in del Real’s alleged abuse and hazing practices.

In fact, hazing at Georgetown Prep became so severe that in 1990 four boys were expelled for a practice known as ‘butting’ where a student ‘pulls down his pants and squares his bottom into the face of a peer’. A dad of one of the boys involved disputed the punishment saying the school knew the practice was ‘widespread’.

Although alleged underage drinking and hazing activities were kept under wraps by the school, evidence found in Kavanaugh’s yearbook – that surfaced during his Supreme Court nomination hearing – sheds light on how the teenage boys treated women.

Kavanaugh has maintained friendships with some of his former Georgetown Prep mates. A few of them even came to his defenses when Christine Blasey Ford accused him of sexually assaulting her while the two were in high school

On a shot of one group of boys a caption said ‘Do these guys beat their wives?’

A quote from classmate Mark Judge’s page says: ‘Certain women should be struck regularly, like gongs.’

The phrase ‘Renate Alumni’ popped up multiple times referring to a girl from the elite Catholic Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart that multiple guys bragged about sleeping with.

But Kavanaugh was defended by students from Georgetown’s all-girls sister school after he was nominated for the Supreme Court by then-President Donald Trump, and the claims against him emerged.

Maura Molloy Kane and her younger sister Meghan Molloy McCaleb, both Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School alumns, led the charge.

Kane had dated Kavanaugh and is now married to his old pal Thomas Kane. McCaleb is married to the judge’s old friend Scott McCaleb.

The Prep boys were also notorious for throwing drinking parties and trying to hook up with girls

They started the letter that circulated the all-girls Catholic school alums asking for signatures to attest to Kavanaugh’s character.

Within minutes many women signed without even know the allegations, according to sources, and eventually racked up 65 names.

‘He was one of their own and his close friends were going to do everything that they could to cover for him,’ one Visitation alum said.

Tom Kane, at the time, defended Kavanaugh saying ‘boys will be boys’ and remained silent about their alleged high school antics.

Some Georgetown Prep alumni tried to start a petition to break the omerta code of silence that was drilled into them as students and support an investigation into the sexual assault allegations. About 80 men signed it.

Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court by a 50-48 majority in October 2018.

Kavanaugh’s confirmation process was dominated by the emotional testimony of Christine Blasey Ford, a California university professor who accused him of sexually assaulting her at a high school party in the early 1980s

The process was dominated by the emotional testimony of Blasey Ford, a California university professor who accused him of sexually assaulting her at a party in 1982, the year before Kavanaugh graduated from Georgetown Prep.

More than 20 million people watched the hearings as Kavanaugh delivered his furious denials.

Blasey Ford’s accusations prompted two other women to make public complaints about the nominee.

Under pressure from Senate Republican leaders, former President Donald Trump asked the FBI to conduct a background investigation of Kavanaugh.

The organization, for the first time, set up a tip line as part of the vetting process. The most ‘relevant’ tips were passed to White House lawyers. It is not clear what happened with the tips after that.

Neither Blasey Ford nor Kavanaugh were interviewed during the process.

Blasey Ford’s lawyers denounced the organization’s handling of the inquiry as a ‘sham’ and said the tips should have been passed to the criminal investigation division of the FBI.
