Ghana international forward Joel Fameyeh netted his 9th league goal of the season for Orenburg in the Russian second-tier league on Sunday afternoon.
The 24-year-old converted a chance from the spot on 68 minutes at the Gazovik Stadium as Orenburg squeeze the results to protect their lead at the top of the table.
Fameyeh, who is capped four times by Ghana, has now scored 9 league goals in 13 games for his side.
He is the third-leading scorer in the league.
He has been included in Milovan Rajevac’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe next week.
