Jamaa soap, Alife soap celebrate Citi FM/TV’s Kokui Hanson, other mothers in media

African Consumer Products Ghana Limited, the producers of Jamaa soap, Alife soap, and Jamaa detergent, are celebrating mothers in media who brave the odds to serve the public in their line of work.

The company believes some of these women who wake up very early in the morning to either prepare for 6:00 am news or morning shows, and work as producers among others, deserve to be celebrated.

The company’s first stop was at Citi FM in Adabraka in Accra, where they celebrated co-panelist on the Citi Breakfast Show on Citi FM, and co-host of the Citi Breakfast Daily on Citi TV, Kokui Selormey Hanson.

With great joy on her face for being recognized as a great mother and a career woman by Jamaa soap, Jamaa detergent, and Alife soap, Kokui Hanson thanked the team for the gesture after receiving some of the company’s products.

The Host of the Citi Breakfast Show, Bernard Avle, who was present during the presentation of the products to Kokui Selormey Hanson, told the team that on Father’s Day, he wants to be given food.

But Kokui Hanson in response said, “yes, mothers also want food, but l have a lot of kids and l have a lot of washing to do” in appreciation of the products she received.

Bernard Avle in response to that also retorted, “It’s true, can l use the Jamaa detergent in the washing machine,” a question that was answered in the affirmative by both the Brand Manager of African Consumer Products Ghana Limited and Kokui Hanson.

The recognition as a mother instantly gave her hope and she believed in the brand Jamaa.

Beaming with smiles, she said “the boys in my house will not bother me with mummy the bathing soap is finished. Now we have Alife and for some time I am not going to buy bathing soap.”

She was particularly happy that Alife came in different flavors.

“Our moms are our superheroes and biggest supporters, but we usually don’t tell them enough how much they’re appreciated. We appreciate your love, confidence, courage, and strength all these years. Your being in our lives has only been a blessing. You are a star and Jamaa wishes you a Happy Mother’s Day. Jamaa ma wo amo!” the team from African Consumer Products Ghana Limited told Kokui.

In all, the team has a list of 25 influential media women who are mothers to be celebrated.
