Sharing on TikTok, the lady @ajokeblingss disclosed her grandma’s reaction after learning the cost of a pear in an open market in UK.
In the midst of shopping, her grandma picked a pear to enquire the similarity with the Nigerian pear.
Meanwhile, the shape of the pear prompted her to request for the price of the fruit. The elderly woman felt surprised after the lady informed her that the pear costs 2,000 Naira.
Immediately, her grandma returned the pear inside the basket and refused to purchase it, in spite of the lady’s persuasive words.
