Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur Kwaku Manu has shed light on the scale of investment behind his growing perfume brand.

He offered a rare look into the financial demands of the trade.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ZionFelix, the popular Kumawood actor revealed that building KM Perfumes has required a substantial financial commitment.

He explained that the fragrances market is far more capital-intensive than many people assume, particularly for retailers whose shelves are consistently filled with a wide range of products.

Kwaku Manu disclosed that he has so far invested about GH¢300,000 into the business.

He emphasised that anyone operating a well-stocked perfume shop has likely committed significant resources to sourcing, branding, and maintaining quality products.

Apart from the financial outlay, the actor and content creator spoke about the level of research that goes into his purchasing decisions.

He indicated that he does not buy perfumes casually, explaining that he carefully studies the products to ensure they meet his standards before adding them to his brand.

He also used the interview to underline how seriously he approaches business, stressing that his ventures are driven by planning and discipline rather than impulse.

According to him, the same dedication he applies to his acting career is reflected in how he manages his entrepreneurial pursuits.

Kwaku Manu further touched on the broader importance of perfumes, highlighting their role in personal grooming and self-confidence.

He explained that fragrances are not just luxury items but an essential part of presentation and identity, which is why he remains committed to delivering quality through his brand.
