Housemate is allegedly stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife during violent Anzac Day home incident – as he’s rushed to hospital

  •  Man allegedly stabbed seven times

A man has allegedly been stabbed in the chest and rushed to hospital in an Anzac Day home incident.

The alleged victim, 46, was rushed to hospital after police arrived at his Neutral Street unit in North Sydney about 2:30 on Tuesday.

He remains in a serious condition at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Officers arrested the alleged knifeman, 49, and have taken him to Chatswood Police Station where he is now assisting with inquiries.

NSW Police told Daily Mail Australia the two men are known to each other.
