Horror as a coal train cuts a ute in HALF after crashing into it at a railway crossing – with a witness helping the driver escape before he is flown to hospital
The driver of a ute is lucky to be alive after his vehicle was cut in half by a train in a horror smash on Wednesday morning.
The coal train hit the ute on a railway crossing in the upper Hunter Valley, north west of Newcastle.
The driver of the ute was helped to safety by a witness.
