Homeowner takes revenge on neighbour who kept cutting across shared driveway

Moment woman reverses into plant pots on shared driveway after they were placed there by angry neighbour in ‘revenge’ after she kept scraping his bins and front steps when parking her car

  • Curtis Patterson from Sheffield used plant pots to divide his driveway
  • The frustrated homeowner’s plan caused chaos when his neighbour returned

This is the moment a frustrated homeowner tried to keep his neighbour from cutting across his driveway… only for his carefully laid plan to backfire.

Curtis Patterson, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, lost patience when his next door neighbour allegedly scraped his bins and front steps with her car while using their shared driveway.

In an effort to mark out their separate territories, Mr Patterson decided to put down two rectangular planters in the middle of the driveway, The Sun reports

The frustrated homeowner felt certain the two plant pots would clearly mark the  boundary between his part of the driveway and next door’s.

But any confidence Mr Patterson had that his neighbour would understand the new division turned out to be woefully misplaced once she returned home…

After hitting the driveway plant pot, it is spent spinning towards Mr Patterson’s own car as the woman reverses into the drive.

The duo then engage in a heated argument over who was at fault, before the neighbour puts the pot back in its place.

‘So we got planters literally today,’ said Mr Patterson in the caption of his Tiktok video. ‘First time she gets home after putting them on our driveway…’

The video prompted mirth among viewers who were amused at the driver’s baffling parking style.

One observer suggested Mr Patterson ‘fill the planters with cement’ while another suggested he ‘build a wall right on the boundary.’

Another simply expressed despair, as they asked: ‘How can you be that bad at driving?’
