Fatau Dauda, the Black Stars goalkeepers’ trainer, has heaped praise on the senior national team’s head coach, Otto Addo.

Dauda described Addo as a “great man” who fosters a collaborative environment among the coaching staff.

“He doesn’t hide anything from us. We always plan together, make decisions together, and have meetings to get the best out of the team,” Dauda told Joy Sports.

Dauda, who previously served as the goalkeepers’ coach for Sudan under former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah, expressed his enthusiasm for working with Addo.

“He is a coach that you will like to work with, and you can learn a lot from him,” he said. Dauda urged patience and belief in Addo’s ability to build a strong team for Ghana, suggesting that success, such as winning the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), could be achievable in the near future.

The goalkeepers’ trainer also highlighted the high level of discipline and effective communication within the technical team, attributing these factors to the potential for short-term success.

Dauda, who made 26 appearances for Ghana, is optimistic about the team’s future under Otto Addo’s leadership. Addo is currently in his second stint with the Ghana national team.
