Two ‘out of control’ teenagers have been caught on video dangerously hanging off the side of moving tram.
The potentially deadly stunt took place on the Gold Coast‘s G:link tram as it was passing through the Surfers Paradise light rail stop near Ocean Avenue.
Footage of the wild moment was captured and shared by another commuter, showing the two teens clinging onto the closed exterior doors of the tram.
One teenage boy dressed in a light blue shirt and a pair of black shorts, and wearing a black backpack, clung to the doors while another boy in a white shirt with a backpack held onto the doors of the following light rail carriage.
As the tram passed through the stop, the teens could be seen passing perilously close to the edge of the platform.
Stunned onlookers watched on as the teens seemed unperturbed by their dangerous stunt.
One person told the Gold Coast Bulletin the teenagers were ‘spiraling out of control’.

Daily Mail Australia contacted GoldLinQ, the operators of the G:link light rail service for comment.
A spokesperson from the operator told the Gold Coast Bulletin that light rail tracks are ‘for trams’.
They said offenders caught performing the dangerous act could be hit with fines for obstructing public transport of up to $550.
Contacted by Daily Mail Australia, Queensland Police said it had received no complaint about the behaviour seen in the video.
The latest incident comes after a terrifying video emerged in December last year of another teenager who was filmed clinging dangerously onto the doors of a moving G:Link tram.
Around 10 seconds later, the teen then appeared to let go of the tram door and fall onto the tram tracks.
Footage of the shocking stunt was uploaded to TikTok with one user claiming in the comments section of the post that the boy was okay afterwards.
A G:link spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia at the time that ‘reckless behaviour like this is extremely dangerous’.
‘We have a simple message for those engaging in this activity – don’t put yourself and others at risk.’

‘There are more than 300 CCTV cameras across the network, which are monitored 24/7, and this behaviour will be immediately reported to the Queensland Police Service.’
The G:link light rail service which opened up in 2014 is the only light rail network in Queensland.
Thousands of passengers use the service which runs across 19 light rail stations on the Gold Coast.
The trams travel at an average speed of 23km/h however the vehicles can reach speeds of up to 70km/h.
