Fire breaks out at Kwame Nkrumah Circle

A fire outbreak has been reported at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

The fire reported around 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, is said to be blazing in the area behind ECOMOG.

The cause of the fire outbreak is not yet known; however, a video from the scene, sighted by GhanaWeb, shows the inferno blazing and engulfing dozens of wooden structures.

Some residents and traders are seen making desperate efforts to salvage their properties.

It has yet to be ascertained whether personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service have responded to the scene.
