A young climate activist from Ghana, Emmanuel Beausoleil, is making a name for himself in the fight against climate change. With his passion and dedication, he is inspiring others to join him in creating a more sustainable future.
Emmanuel was also involved in the recent Cape Coast Skills Day event, which aimed to build future leaders through sports, teamwork, discipline, and community development. The event was a huge success, with over 70,000 cedis in expenses. We are proud to announce that we donated 10,000 cedis to support the cause. The event taught valuable life skills such as changing tires, engine oil, and filters on vehicles, and also featured chess and other activities to promote cognitive development.
Emmanuel has been actively involved in raising awareness about climate change and its impacts on Ghana and Africa. He has spoken at events, rallies, and conferences, calling for urgent action to address the climate crisis. As a leading figure in the Fridays for Future Ghana movement—part of the global movement inspired by Greta Thunberg—Emmanuel has helped organize climate strikes and protests in Ghana, mobilizing young people to demand action from leaders.
His work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 13 (Climate Action). He advocates for Ghana’s government and private sector to prioritize sustainable development and reduce carbon emissions. Emmanuel’s dedication and passion have earned him recognition both locally and internationally. He has been featured in media outlets and received awards for his contributions to environmental advocacy.
Emmanuel is also the founder of Baba Brand GH, an organization focused on environmental sustainability and climate action. Through this platform, he is making a positive impact and inspiring others to join him in creating a more sustainable future.
