Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the arrest of billionaire, Obi Cubana by the EFCC over fraud and money laundering accusations.
According to reports, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arrested the Anambra-born club owner who arrived at the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja is still under interrogation by the EFCC operators.
Reacting to this, Deji Adeyanju recalled how he told Obi Cubana to be careful but people taught he was jealous of his wealth and he averred that it is much better to be arrested by EFCC than FBI therefore Obi Cubana should be celebrating that it is EFCC.
According to him, if Obi Cubana had last week, he won’t need all the explanation now as he has been traveling abroad all the time making him a point of interest and the pointed to the fact that the financial and security world exchange intel.
