Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Baidoo delivered a standout performance for Sogndal in their 2-1 victory over Lyn in the Norwegian 1. Divisjon, scoring one goal and providing an assist.

The match was held at Bislett Stadion, with Baidoo starting and playing until the 86th minute.

Despite Lyn’s dominance in possession and their higher number of shots, Sogndal managed to secure the win. Anders Bjørntvedt Olsen scored the opening goal in the 14th minute, assisted by Mathias Johansen. Sogndal quickly equalized in the 19th minute through Felix Eriksson, set up by Edmund Baidoo.

Baidoo then gave Sogndal the lead in the 38th minute, which they maintained until the final whistle. Several substitutions were made during the game, with Lyn introducing Håvard Meinseth for Jørgen Vedal Sjøl in the 46th minute.

Sogndal also made changes, with Kasper Skaanes, Joakim Berg Nundal, and Oskar Borgthorsson entering the game in the 66th, 79th, and 80th minutes, respectively.
