Don’t marry if you can’t be responsible – Rex Omar advises youth

Outspoken veteran musician Rex Omar, born Rex Owusu Marfo, has advised those who are not mature enough to be responsible to stay away from marriage.

In an interview on Cape Coast’s Property FM, he stated that marriage is not for everyone, as it is a serious commitment that requires strong leadership skills.

He cautioned that individuals lacking the necessary courage should reconsider entering into marriage.

“Marriage is a serious business, and it’s not for everybody, let me repeat: not everyone is meant to marry.

“If you’re not mature, don’t get into marriage. Many people enter marriage for sexual reasons, but after the initial excitement, there’s a lot of responsibility involved,” he emphasised

He continued, “You have to navigate leadership and other challenges, so if you don’t have the courage to handle that, then don’t even consider it.”
