Dive buddies! Water-loving Staffy plunges off cliff alongside his owner in adorable footage 

This is the adorable moment a Staffy called Blu Estremo dived off a small cliff with his owner into the sea in Italy. 

The man and five-year-old English Staffordshire Bull Terrier performed the synchronized jump on Giannutri Island in Tuscany.

In the footage, the pair both look towards the camera before launching themselves off in a perfectly timed dive that even Tom Daley would be proud of.

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier can be heard huffing and puffing as it stands next to a man wearing black swimming trunks and Crocs.

As his owner walks towards the edge of what appears to be a stone pier, Blu immediately rushes to his side.

The duo create a massive splash as Blu performs the first dog belly flop caught on camera.

Blu, who was born in January 2016, has an Instagram page alongside his dog ‘girlfriend’ Heidi, born in May 2018. 

The video, posted on YouTube yesterday, has amassed more than 15,000 views and those who have watched the footage have been quick to comment. 

One user commented: ‘Goes to show how dedicated dogs are to follow their owners. 

‘They have such a strong bond. How happy that dog is to jump in the water – priceless.’

Another said: ‘Dog and dog daddy are both looking at the camera first because they are both thinking the same thing: ‘Make sure you get this great dive on camera now.”

One user said: ‘I thought the cliff would be much bigger.’ 

Blu’s owner, known as Dr Deep on social media, has a TikTok account with more than 8,000 followers and 140,000 likes. 

The footage was originally shared on his account and has nearly 600,000 views.

One user said: ‘Was it only me thinking it was ten times higher.’

Another commented: ‘That’s loyalty.’ 

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is a British breed of short-haired terrier of medium size. that originated in the Black Country of the Midlands.
