A Nigerian man has gone extra mile to prove his culinary skills by frying fish with the help of a mopping stick to prevent oil splatters on his skin.
Sharing on TikTok, the man @justinmiyo7 disclosed that frying food is the major reason he avoids cooking in general.
In a bid to fry the fish, the man had to fasten the cooking spoon with a mopping stick and fry from a distance whilst, he stood at the kitchen’s entrance.
In the video shared online, the young man was recorded putting the fish on the spoon before setting it in the hot pot from a maximum distance to avoid the bunch of tiny oil droplets.
Regardless of his effort, the mop head persistently came in contact with the raw fish in the bowl while frying.
The video has generated negative criticisms online as many berate him for opting for a risky and dirty measure instead of positioning the gas cylinder on the floor.
