Burna Boy Set To Become First Nigerian to Headline Madison Square Garden, New York

Burna Boy is reportedly on his way to becoming the first Nigerian artiste to headline the Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

The Grammy award-winning artiste himself hinted at this imminent history in a post sighted on his verified Instagram page on Thursday night.

He shared a video showing the message sent to him by the Madison Square Garden via its official Instagram account. The MDS management invited him to headline its 20,000 capacity Arena as the first Nigerian to ever have such privilege.

Burna Boy was all up for it as he gave positive feedback of making history but fell short of giving his legions of fans when he would pull this feat. Sharing the video, he wrote; ”THE BIG  ……should I pull up or nah? @thegarden”

Meanwhile, Burna Boy has announced that Ghanaian youngster Black Sherif has been included in his worldwide tours this festive season and probably beyond.

Following their historic joint collaborative effort on the remix of Second Sermon which was released on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 – the Nigerian superstar is set to provide the pedestal for his Ghanaian counterpart to expand his horizon.

In a post sighted on Instagram, Burna Boy said Black Sherif will be part of his entourage and asked all his fans to learn the Twi language so they can jam to their performance massively.

He wrote; @BlackSherif is coming on tour with me. Second Sermon Remix Featuring Me(Burna Boy) Out Now!! You Better Learn The Whole Song Before Coming To Any Of My Shows. Yes That Includes The Twi( A Ghanaian Language) Parts. Thanks. Love….Damini.
